FD haven't refunded my money. What do I do now?

To cut a long story short, 6 weeks ago Flydubai cancelled our 5 flights to Sri Lanka. They agreed to refund the money to my credit card and warned it would take 4 - 5 weeks. Customer services have stopped replying to my emails and the refund still isn't forthcoming. What do I do now?

Hi, As lovelylilies said: make it public, give them a "scene" ... e.g. by twitter. Aside this, I'd approach your bank for advise. Pls note that you may not find any credit on your account statement! They often just "delete" the old booking, so you will see it only by finding out that the old debit is disappeared ...

send them one more email.. Just this time inform them that you will be contacting the authorities if you do not hear back from them within (24/48etc hours) Use Twitter to complain to them directly - most companies reply quickly when its made public.

4-5 weeks for a credit card refund?! Wow! I have never heard of any refund taking that long... I would absolutely ring them and ring them daily until you have some sort of a believable answer... Good luck!
