Boots vs Nair removal cream

Recently left my tube of Nair in a hotel, kicking myself as no one here seems to stock the facial cream one. Tried the Boots own brand and it is cr@p, left it on a bit over the recommended time and it didn't budge a thing!
All the stores seems to have in stock is either the large Veet tube (not suitable for face) or their own brands which are not effective at all.
Anyone seen the Nair one around lately? Don't have any trips home til next month and don't fancy doing a Frida til then.... :)
