Debating taking visitors to Atlantis and was wondering which metro station is closest to the beginning of the monorail-trying to save taxi fares here! Thanks

Wuffles have a look here, looks like there's a free shuttle bus from Ibn Battuta to the monorail. [url=http://www.topdubaiattractions.com/palm-island/'>link[/url'> edited by Alismum on 13/07/2013 Thanks-not sure about the bit about not being able to enter the hotel though-we have wandered through the foyer for a look-see before Probably not worth the effort if that is the case-must be a few years since we last took visitors too come to think of it. A few years back when we had guests we took them all over to see the foyer, fish, ice cream place, shops, common areas etc. I think they may have become stricter now. Maybe someone else knows or give them a call

Probably Dubai Internet City metro station, but you'll need a taxi to go from there to the monorail. Thanks-any idea of the cost from there? Will be about 10aed. But taking a taxi from Internet City to the Palm will be around 20, which is cheaper than taxi+monorail. very true-just thought the monorail might appeal-will see how the budget is going-not the best time of year to have visitors who don't want to swim or do any water parks!

The monorail costs 25 dirham and there isn't really a metro close enough to the station. The new tram line is supposed to connect to it, but that's not finished by long. Where are your visitors? It might be cheaper for them to take a taxi directly from a metro station. With me in Bur Dubai-was hoping to get part way by Metro at least. Thanks
