Accepting the fact that I am singularly unobservant and have the brain the size of a gnat's, is this a new thing whereby taxis and school buses have huge ads/pictures across their entire rear windows? I've noticed several over the past few days and am sure I've not seen them before, but obviously anticipate I'm probably wrong. edited by simpleasabc on 21/10/2012

Yep, you need a licence to have stickers on the paintwork

Can't imagine they're that hard to find, you get car stickers all over the place here. You just have to remember to buy loads as every time your car has to be road tested to renew the registration you have to remove them. It's a very stupid rule. i've never needed to take my buckle up sticker off - and ironically the garage always leave theirs on there lol I think it's actually 'commercial' looking stickers that they object to. Although I have known people be asked to remove their country stickers. Depends where it is. I have a couple on the back windscreen, never been asked to remove them. I think they object if it's actually on the paint work.

Maybe they were just trying to point something out that you may have been unaware of before you went through a good deal of searching trying to find stickers. Of course it's up to you. All I meant was as they are illegal they will most likely be hard to find! Wasn't expecting to get my head bitten off-one of the joys of a forum I guess.................

Random question, does anyone know where to get those cute stickers for the car that are little stick men that show your family. They are white and have lots of different characters so you can customise your line up. Anyone know what im talking about? Or where to get some Tia
