I make sure I get there in the morning when it is quiet. Its not so bad having a good look around then. I bought both my daughter's beds from the DM (HB/IA section)for 400/500dhs less than home centre for the exact same beds. If I had bought the wardrobes etc as well it would have been a huge saving. It is still worth taking a look. We got curtains made in GB and blinds in GA for a very reasonable amount. Plus we are having them all installed for 200dhs and it is a 4 bed villa. The only catch was that we need to pick the fitter up with the curtains or pay the taxi fare or they charge an extra 150dhs to drop him off! You need to talk to the guys in the shop about what you want and they have some great material sample books nothing like they have on show!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Zidu, I think I've seen a few furniture shops in Karama and Satwa, they should be cheaper and most I think is good quality anyway.

I think Dragonmart is the cheapest place for curtains, but they often don't come out to do measurement / fitting, so you need to be good at measuring windows accurately and knowing how much material you need. An alternative with possibly better customer service is Satwa - just look in the windows for the places that sell curtaining material then pop in and ask. I find them super helpful and reasonable (maybe not great spoken english). Good luck. Thank you so much

Wild you say it is still a good place to get curtains. It has been recommended to me, but not sure now. If not do you have any other recommendations for curtains that won't cost us an arm and a leg? Thanks
