Do any of you Premier customers have a C&P credit card?

Mine is the swipe and sign type and I'm finding that quite a few places here in the UK no longer accept cards that are not C&P. Many of these are major retailers like ASDA and Morrisons which is quite awkward for me.

I've looked on the website but can't find too much info as to whether a C&P card is an option.

We received our new MasterCard and Visa cards from HSBC last month and they are now chip and pin cards. If you want them changed before your old ones expire they will no doubt charge you the replacement card fee.

Well you just know that it won't be a simple process. Probably best to take a chip & pin card to show them, but then they probably won't understand.

I'll call next week. I'll try and remember to update on here when I've spoken to them. This is the first year it's been a problem. Previously people have looked at the card a bit odd but this is the first time I've had shops say they cannot accept/process it.

Thanks. Have you asked for a chip & PIN? I was planning to when I get back next week but was wondering if anyone - particularly those who've recently received cards - has a C&P card. It's becoming a right pain not knowing if a retailer will accept the card or not.
