Dear Ladies, Thankyou so much for your prompt and helpful replies! I did also manage to find a reasonable location map on the internet, so am sure that the combination of your excellent directions plus map will assist me to avoid my usual Abu Dhabi experience of becoming hopelessly lost!! AYR look for the twisty building thats capital gate at adnec and its right behind its a very odd shape like a silver ski ramp lol

I live in Dubai but have an visa application appointment at the Abu Dhabi Embassy tomorrow. The only probloem is that I have been unable to track down the Embassy location!! The website only seems to have the PO Box number, and I have had no luck so far in finding it on any interactive maps etc! Any assistance from those who have been there would be greatly appreciated!!! yes its basicially close to the exhibition centre. if you are coming from dubai, come down and go over matqa bridge do not go over the new road sh. zayed bridge. in order to come off the right turning the new road goes straight you need to take the right hand turn where the majority of the traffic will go, this goes over matqa bridge, you will see the grand mosque on your left once over the bridge, keep going down 2nd st airport road, and go along car4 is on your left, go over the flyover bridge. at the next junction you will see pepsi cola factory on your left, do a u turn go back and its over there towards the right, there is not much around it you will notice the building its like a ski ramp all silver there are only a handful of houses and a big compound and the exhibition centre and the zayed military hospital is the only thing around it. i dont think that they have parking meters there yet, but you will know if they are there as the kerbs will be painted black/blue (2dhs) or blue/white (3 dhs) but havent seen them there but best to have some coins just in case. or you can come over mussafah bridge, and then take the turning past adnec/twisty building/zayed military hospital/imperial college and turn onto the next street may be 29th st may be a little road not sure and then its up there on right hand side.

Coming from Dubai, stay on main Dubai-Abu Dhabi highway(do NOT turn off at Yas Island) follow signs for Maqta Bridge, cross over the Maqta bridge and stay on that road(do NOT turn off for Eastern ringroad/Salam street) go straight and you"ll pass a big Carrefour on the left, go over the bridge, when you hit the first signal you"ll see a Adnoc petrol station on right with American International School, On the left is Pepsi Cola, at that signal make a U turn, then immediate right, over a few humps and then i think a left, by that point you'll see the strange looking embassy building with an American flag on top. Goodluck, bring a few coin dirhams, not sure if its paid parking there now(dont think so)but plenty of parking anyway Feel free Abu Dhabi people to correct me if im wrong or you have an easier way to explain!!!!
