I am really struggling trying to find a good sports bra in Dubai. Before I give myself a black eye I really need to find a good one. I have tried Victoria Secrets and they aren't adjustable ones on the back so they don't work for me and the sports shops don't really cater for larger busted woman. Any ideas?

Wow thanks ladies - so many responses. I will have a look through them and try to source some. Then I can train safe in the knowledge the girls are secure.

The panache sports bra is THE BEST. Lifts and encapsulates rather than smooshing everything down like a pancake. More comfortable than a regular bra. Fits true to size. You can buy it on ebay for about 15-25 gbp and have it shipped over via shop and ship.

There is a UK website called Boobydoo, that is fantastic, post here quickly and often have good discounts. I buy Shockabsorber Run bras and find them fantastic for everything. They are light and soft but very controlling and come in lovely colours, you just need to size up on the width - I'm a 32, but need a 34 at least. I bought an Enell once and found it very supportive but it immediately got the award for the ugliest thing in my wardrobe and I really felt I was wrestling with the girls everytime I did it up. Give me a back fastening anytime! I've not been to TKD but I generally buy online things I've already bought or tried on in the UK, so I'm happy they'll fit. FFx Second the Shock Absorber bras, although not for high impact. I wear 2 of the lighter ones when doing long runs gives perfect support. You can buy them in Debenhams.

And I also find TKD very overpriced like everything else in Dubai. All depends where you come from... Compared to Switzerland, they are great value! I like to be able to try them on and not worry about returning via post. Switzerland is one of the most ridiculously expensive countries in the world so everything seems cheaper for Swiss people. Lol! ;) Been to Zurich many times and my mouth always hangs open at the prices there....

I like to be able to try them on and not worry about returning via post. It's still much cheaper to order from UK and exchange for me. Bravissimo and Figleaves do not charge you postage for exchange orders. Asos is free shipping. But I can understand if you are not sure of your size or how a style would fit on you, it's great to be able to try it on. edited by Chocobella on 07/05/2013 edited by Chocobella on 07/05/2013

I use M&S and Nike I am an E Cup if that helps :-) Hi Sarah, I also used to buy M&S size E (they don't go any larger). When I was sized by TKD I was actually a 34FF!! The 34FF made a huge difference to my workouts in the gym, 'the girls' weren't flying all over any more but the biggest surprise is that I discovered I actually had a WAIST (covered previously by 'the girls'). What a huge difference. I have been measured at home and am a 34E M&S bras are the only ones that fit perfectly

Simplybeach.com will take away the VAT from your items substantially reducing the price when you order from anywhere outside the UK. Ebay UK is of course one of the best places for bras at great prices. edited by Chocobella on 07/05/2013

Enelle sports bra. Nothing even comes close. I am a 30GG-H and I can trampoline in it without the hint of a wobble. This is highly functional sports garment not fixated on how it looks but focuses on reducing breast movement to the minimum. It has to be ordered from overseas though. http://www.amazon.com/Enell-High-Impact-Sports-Bra/dp/B000IWEJDE Hi Chocobella, Tried most sports bra's but haven't tried this one. The style and design is also important for me and the Enelle is not attractive at all, I would feel like a 'gym granny' Take a look at the Panache Sports bra..... the support is amazing, the colours are great and it's young looking. Most of all it keeps the girls where they should be (even at 60)!! http://www.panache-lingerie.com/us/brands/panache-sport In my opinion for serious bust support there is nothing even close to Enelle! Keeping the girls in place and not letting them wobble are two different things and equally important factors and while Panache will accomplish the first, I doubt it can even come close to what Enelle can do for the second. To run or jump and feel zero movement in your heavy breast tissue is heaven sent! And I never felt like a gym granny in it :-)

I have had M&S sports bras in the past BUT the Panache sports bra at TKD Lingerie in Jumeira Town Centre is fantastic, there is no comparison. And as others have said, the service and expertise at TKD are great. I have bought other (non-sports) bras there as well and no longer wear any of my M&S ones! (34FF/G)

Again, TKD in Town centre. The Panache Sports Bra is amazing, the small clip at the back turn the bra into a racer back (great for hiding those ugly straps). The best thing is that TKD will size you (discreetly). We often get the size wrong, if that happens it doesn't matter what style you get from what store it will not give you support. Get sized by a professional. TKD are the only Sports accredited stores in Dubai. The changing room is lovely with a robe if you are quite shy (like me). You can change then unlock the door and ask them to check how it fits. They will go through a number of routines with you to establish the fit so you know how your bra should fit. I would not go anywhere else now.... I don't buy as many sets as when I used to from M&S and Debenhams but what I buy I wear because it FITS and is COMFORTABLE. No contest..... hope this helps

I would also recommend TKD they are really helpful. I have found that M&S and Debenhams only stock the large back sizes but not large back & cup size bras.

I got one from Marks and Spencers. They had large sizes and its been pretty good for me. Debenhams also has a new range for us well endowed ladies :) I didn't look for a sports bra though so you would have to check .

Try TKD in Town Centre next to Mercato. They cater for the larger bust and have a good range of sports bras. HTH
