thick toilet roll for less than £9 per pack, fruit and veg that look fresh and don't cost the earth, nice little birds in my garden, neighbours who talk to me and don't move out every year, my local pub, cinema where people are quiet, a decent curry, a proper sausage. I second that!!

Peters Pies, Greggs Steak Bakes, Sainsburys Earl Grey tea, Nescafe instant Espresso, thick toilet roll for less than £9 per pack, fruit and veg that look fresh and don't cost the earth, nice little birds in my garden, neighbours who talk to me and don't move out every year, my local pub that I can stagger home from without fear of getting arrested and locked up, bar maids that don't try to chat up my husband, taxi drivers who understand what I say and where I want to go, the train into London, cinema where people are quiet, a decent curry, a proper sausage. I think I'll just go and hit the vodka now ....

Good tv, good jobs in good tv! A tv service that doesn't die on me every bleeding night. Cheap iPhone contracts. I really miss markets and woodland. Fruit that tastes amazing. Being able to buy wine in the same shop as that amazing tasting fruit. Asking in a shop "do you have...." and not getting a blank look. I miss friends and family the most though... Would give up mny of the so called good bits of here to have my mum nearby

Real seasons - cool fresh breezes - walks in woodland - picking wild berries - sitting around a log fire in winter - snow - spring flowers - wildlife - historical buildings - availability of accurate information - ease of communication - good manners- respect for others- a sense of belonging. Nothing that money can buy. Yes, I agree. I don't miss any material things either.

flowers that have a proper fresh flowery smell fruits (especially berries) that actually smell and taste like berries :( succulent proper watermelons....because here they are indeed water-filled-melons! ..mostly i miss the general lack of choice of everything...whether shopping for food or clothes, or finding contractors, going out..the choices (of whatever it may be) here are kind of mundane :(

Free range meat from my butcher, including chicken carcasses for making stock. Friends. Walking to school. Amazon. I actually buy backs, necks bones (carcasses) etc from lulu, choitrams, (carrefore when they have it). Can't say they're free range but they make a great soup and the dogs love those bones!!

Talking about crisps, why is impossible to get the Walkers Baked Crisps in every other flavour other than Salt & Vinegar?? Only available in the variety packs but don't like cheese and onion crisps :(
