Same here with du. It's mostly my internet radios losing the wi-fi connection constantly, and as du doesn't *do* wi-fi routers, there is absolutely no point complaining to them. Will try and find a way to switch off the du box for 10 minutes and see if that works - re-setting the router is standard, unfortunately. Certainly not going to waste my time calling du as last time, they told me that if they came on a call-out and it was related to the wi-fi connection/router, which they couldn't officially fix, we'd be charged a call-out fee for the privilege of them doing nothing! If you go onto your routers address 192.168.......(ask DU what yours is) and change the channel then it wont lose connectivity. Most technicians here put it on Auto but if you change it to a dedicated wifi channel then it wont happen. Also a lot of MAC computers do not work well with the Auto setting so just choose one channel. A lot of technicians here do not even know this and would recommend you buy a wifi repeater when its just a setting that needs changing. Its all about the money here not the service.

Yes I called them and I got told they are working on the servers and it would be better soon but mine is still super slow. I have reseted the elife box as well. I just feel its so unfair the I have to pay for my internet and I am not nearly getting the internet speed I am paying for however everyone just shrugs when you complain. I highly doubt they are 'working on a server' either as that seems to be a catchphrase the call center uses when they just want you to get off the line and get rid of you.:cry:

Yup, try going to the main box and turn it off at the mains for 10 minutes, our speed went from painful to normal. Wish i had thought of it quicker! Try this before calling and see if it does the trick.

I'm with du and the speed I'm getting is considerably slower than what I'm paying for. I haven't got the time or patience to spend half an hour on the phone to complain.

Very slow here as well. It begagrs belief how a city which is quite advanced in its Metro and other aspects of infrastructure can be so problematic when it comes to internet. Charges are so high, and I would gladly pay as long as I can reasonable speeds, but even after paying 100 dhs a month more in top of the 400, and supposedly getting 20 mbps, things are slow....

Mine is not just slow... It cuts out completely for seconds or minutes at a time... It also routes my traffic through either Turkey or Romania so when I open websites they are in Turkish or Romanian and the defaults are all set to the matching currency... This has never happened before  (Also Etisalat)
