One more happy client of Aliza here. Tried and tested for hair services (rebonding & organic hair botox.) Excellent value for money. Always tranforms hair from ugly to gorgeous.Only down side is that staff is not as good. Better to get your hair done by her. BTW You can simply go for free consultation and check what's best for your hair type? P:s, I saw some blowout deal on groupon from same salon. Just in case You want to try. Good luck.

Horizonmum, where did you do Yuko? I did my Yuko treatment at Reflections Salon in Jumeirah... they were excellent... but even back in the day when I did it (almost 8years ago) it used to be around 2000 for my hair length (bra strap)... not sure what their rates for the treatment are now

Horizonmum could you please let me know the details of your place is satwa the salon is called Beauty Plus Salon... just opposite the bus station... and Alizeh's contact number is 055 182 3918 ... tell her you were recommended by Christina (hopefully she'll remember me!)... I went there last in april this year I second beauty Plus salon for hair. I went there for several treatments (botox, rebounding) and took my friend for a Brazilian blow out last week. Every time result was stunning. Hairdresser Aliza is expert in her work. And prices are bargain. Blow out was only 900 AED for very long and thick hair whereas other salons quoted about 2500 AED. Did not try any other service so can't comment on anything else.

Thanks ladies, my hair constantly seems frizzy even when i wash and straighten it. Was hoping one of these treatments might "calm" it a little :) Horizonmum could you please let me know the details of your place is satwa I wash my hair everyday and prior to Kerastraight I would straighten it everyday also. All that combined with the water and humidity here left me feeling like I constantly battled with frizzy hair. I can honestly say the only time I now use straightening irons is when the Kerastraight is ready for a new application and I am going out and want a really smooth finish. I still wash and dry my hair each day and it still looks good after a quick blow dry. Even when I am in a rush and leave it a little damp it doesn't frizz up.

if you're looking for rebonding (which is permanent) and for a good priced deal then go to this place in satwa that I go to... I have tried every product under the sun to tame my wavy tresses from the more expensive Yuko treatment to cheaper keratin ones... but the one I have found to be most reasonable and effective is a combination of treatments at this salon in satwa... [u'>[b'>pros[/b'>[/u'> - leaves hair straight, soft, manageable and still bouncy - can be clubbed with a hair botox treatment or treatment to protect coloured or damaged hair - reliable brand of product used from Schwarzkopf - is cheap!! rebonding for hair approx. 18inches long costs AED 300... plus additional AED 100 for colour protection and if you choose to do the botox treatment as well then that's an additional AED 300 - very good hair therapist who really knows her straightening as she does around 10-15 rebonding jobs every week - treated hair doesn't curl/frizz and only touch ups need for regrowth! [b'>[u'>cons[/u'>[/b'> - overall hair appearance 'after' may seem very thin or flat if you're hair is generally of lesser volume - the salon is in a very dodgy little building opposite the satwa bus station - process is longggggg (we're talking 4hours) so I recommend taking a good book! I've been going to them for the past three years and very happy with their service... please note that I have only been there twice as I only touch up once a year... make sure you get the treatment done by the manager - her name is Alizeh... and drop in for a consultation first... she doesn't push everyone for the treatment as she will need to first see your hair to decide whether it would be suitable for you... word of warning though don't try any other treatment at the salon... their waxing and Moroccan bath are horrid!! I thought it was cheap so tried it but had a bad experience... the salons only strength is their hair services! edited by HorizonMum2 on 28/05/2014

Did any of you notice a difference in the condition of your hair? Mine is very damaged and curious if this will make it worse or help I've been using Kerastraight for a couple of years and my hair is in great condition. If you are looking for poker straight hair maybe its not the right treatment but it makes mine straighter, but more importantly its much more manageable.

I would have to disagree - I have curly/wavy hair and it does wonders! My hair DOES go straight and far more manageable and stays that way for around 3-4 months. I usually have it done at Salon Ink or Ted Morgan. Hair won't go poker straight, like rebonding, but it makes a huge difference to my hair which is usually a complete frizz ball.

Honestly it depends on what You want. Kerastraight will make your hair sloghtly manageable not straight. That You can achieve with any keratin or hair botox treatment. There is zero blow out available now which is formaldehyde free. I believe that still works better than kerastraight. In my opinion K.S is just over rated. P.s: I am talking about effects on wavy hair.

Was thinking about getting a Brazilian blowout and was told it's actually bad for your hair.

Kerastraight is great. It's all natural products vs Brazilian Blowout which contains formaldehyde. It usually lasts for about 3-4 months and leaves your hair in great condition. Not cheap though, prices usually start at around 1,800 Dhs.
