For the love of god can anyone tell me where I can find a pair of good fitting jeans which sits on the waist and not below. I like the marks and spencer ones but they lack slighty on fitting :( HELP !!!

Anyone tried to get a pair of NOMO jeans made? I haven't tried it yet, but am considering it. They are quite expensive though.

Joe's jeans at MCC are having a sale at the moment, I got a great fitting pair for 150dhs. All their jeans are on sale. That's crazy prices. Which store? Joe's jeans are my absolute favorite. They really seem to cater to small waist with curvy hips. Sorry Beebers for the slow reply - the Joe's store in Mirdiff city centre. 2nd level near the Debenhams end. All their jeans were on sale 150-300dhs. Didn't see many over that price :) I normally wear citizen of humanity but I love the pair I bought, so comfortable.

I love the 'curvy' Gap jeans too, however the denim is quite thick for here. I've also got some great New Look jeans - the boot cut - I found a pair for £5 in the UK on sale too in August! They're a thinner denim so much better for here I find.

I always have issues finding jeans - until I popped into American Eagle - amazing, loads of styles and cuts and not heavy on the pocket. Ended up buying 4 pairs and got free t-shirts to go with.

Best jeans in Dubai are from Gap. They have all different sorts of styles. I have the 'Curvy' and it's really a great pair of jeans especially if you have a slightly fuller lower half. They are a little more expensive than Dhs 65 but a good quality pair that will last a long time.

Not sure if this is any help, but are NYDJ (not your daughter's jeans) jeans available in Dubai? I bought a few pairs of these in London and they are fantastic. They fit so beautifully, sit perfectly on the waist, have a great range of colours and leg widths and styles and they really do flatter the body very well. The way they sell them is to promise that they will make you look a size smaller and I think they do! Okay I just did a search on Google and an expatwoman thread came up about these jeans and apparently they ARE available here, at Debenhams. They aren't cheap but so so worth the price. http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=186885
