Any recommendations on the best place to buy a GoPro Hero Black 4?
I'm looking for my DH's birthday. He usually buys all fancy gear so I just don't have a clue! ;)

Saw them at Rip Curl at MOE today. Funny as Iam looking for 1 now and actually ordered 1 thru Amazon as friend travelling to the US. About $150 cheaper than here. <em>edited by basil on 08/12/2014</em>

Oooohh, lucky DH! So much fun ahead. I suggest adding: 1. Polarizer filter - reduces glare; improves colour saturation; sharper images, etc. 2. Portable power pack - GoPro 4 battery life is about 1.5 hours, and a pack will quickly recharge whilst out shooting for up to 5+hrs Optionals: 3. If he wants to take it diving, a head-strap + QuickClip 4. For off-road/4WD, a roll-bar mount 5. For mountain biking or motorbike, a helmet mount In other words, it's a bottomless pit of fancy option$ ;) Enjoy!

I got one from E-City at Dubai Mall last weekend (for my hubs for Xmas). There's a huge array of mind boggling accessories but I ended up getting a remote control that straps to the wrist or handle bars of a bike etc, also a 64GB micro memory card thingy. The whole lot came to 2,694 aed which I think is about the going rate. Virgin didnt have them, the sales chap tried to sell me a competitive brand (AEE?) but a brand I'd never heard of, and the camera looked much bulker. Chatting to the E-City guy he said the Go Pro was far superior, a little cheaper, and they also stocked the other brand so I felt inclined to believe him!
