I made one years ago in the UK. And at that time i couldn't get the veal bones for the jelly but the butcher gave me some of his jelly. I would have to look up my recipe but if OP like i can pop it up tonight.

Can you get all the right raw ingredients here, MrsBW? I'd have trouble with the pastry crust, I think, looks v complicated to me..

They are quite easy to make - i cheat and use a spring cake tin rather than using a block mold.

Spinneys sell slices from large pork pies so I assume they would sell you the full pie if you wanted. Personally I don't like them but the OH always manages to hide one in the shopping trolley if he comes with me to do the food shopping! He prefers the imported ones made by Walls, they come in a couple of different sizes and can be purchased in Spinneys, Park and Shop and Choithrams.

Check Spinneys or Waitrose pork section. Its the only place you will find it.

Try Park and Shop the bakery section. They sell small ones, so am sure they could make a larger version.

Does anyone know anyone who can make me a large pork pie or any companies that provide them?
