We were at JBR yesterday and we saw people watching a film in the new open air cinema down there. Does anyone know where I find out what's on at this cinema? I have been on the Reel website but it appears this one is operated seperately. Thanks

I just LOVE this. Bravo Dubai. When this development was planned it didn't seem like a good idea but it looks great down there now. Really nice with the restaurants overlooking the sea. LOVE the open air cinema. Me too I really like it down there, am impressed. It will be great when all the shops/restaurants are open. Wonder if they are gonna open a Starbucks :) Have to see how it's gonna be sat outside watching a movie in the 45oF degree heat though. I'm pretty hardened to this weather but I have walked out in middle of summer in JBR on an evening and it is hot hot hot!!!! <em>edited by Alismum on 13/04/2014</em>

50 Dirhams is good, might nip there later as well :) Tonight the movie is Frozen Ground with Nicholas Cage not seen that one - so like the idea of outside.

Tatters that's brilliant. Thankyou. And I called them. It's AED50. And you can stay as long as you like so if there is a film and football in the same day, you can watch both for AED50. No worries - yea its seems quite good value cant wait to go. maybe this week..

Thanks Di and SarahLou. That's the Reel multi screen though. Not the big outdoor screen. It's the outdoor one I want. It looks fab. Loads of big sofas and beanbags and a drinks service. Maybe try to call them up to ask 04 449 1988

reel cinemas is the one inside. The outdoor one is something like la playa dot ae etc I did get their website but promptly lost it but you can ask at the kiosk there for their website address.
