It would take some efforts and a lot of cries to master running and climbing.
One year and a half in the big world - your toddler is growing up so fast. By now, he/she should be able to walk unaided but it would take some focus and falls to master running and climbing.
It’s the perfect time to let them try out some outdoor toys like swing sets and slides. It’s also equally important to home-school then as they now understand and might even speak some favourite words.
Take time out to bond with them over games like naming body parts, animal sounds, naming colours, identifying shapes. They may seem silly to you but these fun activities play a titular role in building their motor skills and early days learning.
Although they will be reluctant, they still need their nap times. As for mealtimes, try adding some mashed veggies or small chunks in their diet.
