Your kid may just be ready for toilet-training!
Who knew such a little person could have such a strong personality!
Your baby is now a growing individual with his/her own preferences in almost everything. They may not like what you feed them, when you wake them up or when you try to put them to bed. And they only know one way to express their displeasure — by crying out at the top of his lungs.
They also don’t really care if there are guests around or whether they are in the middle of a busy mall. If they’re going to be angry, they won’t hide it so be prepared to get some sympathetic (and some accusing glares) in malls, movies theatres and restaurants.
Be firm with your action but remember, your child doesn’t know any other way to express himself at the moment.
Here’s some long-awaited good news though: Your kid may just be ready for toilet-training (no more dirty diapers!) Signs of readiness include when they are recognizing if they are wet or dirty, waking up dry from sleep and being able to hold on for long enough to get to the toilet and then release when they are there.
