Minor adjustments to the routine or their surroundings can rock their world.
Your baby is almost 2 years old (yes, so soon!)
Before you know it, they’ll be off to their school so the best thing you can do is spend some quality time with them every day. Teach them some new sports, take them out for a walk, point them to different objects and spoil them with their favourite ice cream — they’ll love these sessions as much as you will.
By this time, most of the toddlers are almost half the height that they will be when fully grown. Their long bones are going through continual change as they mature which means you’ll need to make sure they’re getting plenty of nutrition to fuel this bone growth.
Alter their diet by adding more protein and vitamin-filled fruits and veggies. Make their food interesting by asking them to assist you in preparation.
Now that they’re outgrowing their clothes and almost speaking their mind, it’s a good idea to shift them to a bed. But beware lots of toddlers don’t take change lightly. Even minor adjustments to the routine or their surroundings can rock their world.
Give them plenty of warning and get them involved.
