bergen, Which HCG drops would you recommend and do you know how much they are. I've only tried the ones I use, the platinum hcg x30 (blue bottle). I chose that one coz it's cheaper than the Biogen one and you do not need to keep it in the fridge after opening it. I think they are around 250 to 300 dhs, cant quite remeber as I bought them a while back.

I buy mine at GNC on ZSR. I use the 30x platinum (blue bottle), but they sell other brands there. I've been on it for two weeks and I have lost 13,2lbs or 6kgs. So it is working for me. What i typically eat during the day: Breakfast: 1 Ryvita with 2 eggs (fried, scrambled, hards boled), or salmon, or cheese. With some greens on the side ( slices of pepper, tomatoes or cucumber etc) Lunch: same as above or a small green salad with some veggies and protein Dinner: 1 piece of fish (salmon, cod, tuna etc) or beef, mince, chicken with salad or boiled veggies Snakcks in between: 1 apple, some strawbwrries, some cheese, walnuts I drink at least 2 litres a day (1.5 liter water bottle + 3 large cups of green tea and some coffee) The trick is to avoid all sugar and wheat! And potatoes and bananas. Anything strachy and sugry. I do not follow the suggested food list as i include cheese, olive oil, eggs, salmon and wine. This has not impacted ny weight loss at all. But everyones body chemistry is different, i would suggest trying various things to see what works and what doesent. Hope this helps! Thanks a Lot.. There are fake and real HCG drops. If you google HCG forums they provide heaps of information on the different types of HCG and their effectiveness, but its each to their own type of HCG they take, injections, drops, sprays and tablets. There is also a you tube video by Dr Oz on the positives and negatives of this protocol. I have done one round of HCG (drops) and lost 10% of my initital body weight and maintained it for over 3 months now. You must follow the diet strictly during each phase, you slowly reintroduce foods back into your diet. I know now what I can and cant eat, what I can eat freely and not have reactions. The principles of the HCG Diet are also found by doing some serious research and taking the time to completely understand the protocol and how much this will impact your lifestyle. It was hard...its not easy. Do some research before thinking this is the miracle cure for weight loss. <em>edited by littleone on 09/04/2013</em>

Which HCG drops would you recommend and do you have a price idea. I would need to b uy the drops here in Dubai. TIA

Bergen, are you feeling very tired eating so little carbo's? Are you exercising at the same time? Where is GNC on SZR exactly? I know I've seen it somewhere but I cannot place it. No, not really as I get carbs in apples, strawberries and a little in the ryvitas. No, I am not exercising at the moment. The GNC is 2 or 3 towers north of 4 point sheraton if that helps.

Hello .. can any one please help in how we can get it in Dubai, is there any clinic to monitor the protocol progress and how to apply? help please I thought they were illegal here? I may be wrong I imagine if allowed they would be given under strict instruction and you would have to be monitored.

I've just completed the 24 days of Cura Romana by Leslie Kenton which is the same concept using homeopathic HcG spray. I've lost 15lbs. :D Now that the 24 days are over I begin the 6 week maintenance or as the book calls it "consolidation" where you test foods to suit your body, thus eliminating or rather gaining knowledge about foods that don't sit right with our bodies, which in turn causes weight gain. I must admit, I found it tough, extremely tough, in the beginning, but once my body detoxed, it wasn't so bad.....food got boring though! The best bit is even though weight loss is so rapid, I'm not left with any loose skin, or wrinkles, as it targets the inessential fat. I would do this again :) edited by coco pops on 08/04/2013 edited by coco pops on 08/04/2013 edited by coco pops on 08/04/2013 <em>edited by coco pops on 08/04/2013</em>

I have tried it, and found it to be the [i'>best[/i'> weightloss aid I have ever used. They are not for everyone. For me it worked wonders. I have used them at different times in my life, and found that I have kept the weight off. I recently left a job which required me to work eleven hours a day behind a desk, and it absolutely destroyed my metabolism. I was getting fat in places that I never had it before. I had to buy a new wardrobe. I did, and still do eat a very restricted diet, and make it a point to exercise several times a week-and that still did nothing. Since moving here I have found that I have to work at not gaining weight (and never had to before). The fat accumulates around my stomach, and thighs. So I went back to the HCG, I used on bottle, and lost one size-IN A WEEK, and that is not an exaggeration. I remember that everyone I worked with kept commenting on it, how did I lose so much weight so quickly? I was already on a severely restricted diet that had not been working, and I did not change it whilst taking the HCG. Only with the HCG it seemed to work. The fat in my problem areas significantly decreased, which is what I hoped for. This was six months ago, and it has not come back. I just want to lose one more size (to get back to my original, pre-Dubai size), and I need to find a new source. The previous brand I used has now changed it formulation. There is a panic about HCG being a hormone, and everyone now wants a hormone free product-many companies are changing to this. The hormone free products do not work for me at all. They are expensive, and full of inert ingredients. They are nothing but amino acids. So, I am not sure where I can order a good quality product. I am perfectly aware that it may not be the best thing out there, and that it is not good to take a hormone. But it worked so well for me, I would do it again. If you do buy a product, make sure to read all of the fine print, and ingredient list. Many products now are sold as HCG (in big bold letters) with "alternative" in fine print. I think it might work for some people, depending on their situation/metabolism, current body make-up. Good old fashioned healthy eating, and regular exercise works for some people-but with the excessive working lifestyle that I live it does not do very much. If anyone knows of a good product, I would appreciate it if you could pass it on.

Did HCG before I moved over here and was very successful BUT didn't do the maintenance afterward (going back to regular eating SLOWLY) and gained ALL the weight back PLUS now it's mostly on my belly!!! ARGGGGG. Is a hard go of it as it's only 500 calories a day but after the first week I felt better. I seriously believe that if I had done the maintaining AFTER the initial diet that it would have worked. Am thinking of doing it again AFTER Christmas!! And yes....I'm aware that it's not the best, but it did retrain my taste-buds, the numerous brunches (when I first moved) and not being active did me in! New Year....New Attitude!

There is no magic cure for weight loss. Eat less.....much less, no sugar (ever again) no carbs after 1pm, go for a walk every day, no ready made food, lots of water. Retrain your brain to not want food. Its really easy once you stop making excuses. Dinks, I used to think that was the only way, too, and that is how I kept my weight at bay for years. This year I decided to stop the militant restrictions, added about 500 calories a day to my intake, added more carbs, even ones like bread and bananas, and I've never been in better shape. I think super restrictive eating scares people away, and drives more to look for a magic cure! Weight lost that way is also gained back quite quickly. ETA: be careful which drops you get--most of them are complete bunk. The kind Oopsiedaisy is talking about might be difficult to buy in Dubai <em>edited by Beebers on 11/12/2012</em>

I bought it in Holland, only through certified dietitians. There are however websites that sell them as well. Don't know about delivery in Dubai. Try googling bio-hcg

To be honest with you, I think the only problem with me, is me!!! I really need to get into the right mindset! If I am bored or fed up, I eat! If we go out for dinner it is, well we paid for it so I should eat it, instead of stopping when I am feeling satisfied!! I find that really difficult to do!! It might be worth a try though!! Can you get it here? Or do you have to order it online? Hadn't even heard of it until this thread was put up!

Pregnancy hormones? I ate as if I was paid to do so when I was pregnant! Lol! A family friend had HCG injections done and lost 12kgs in 3 months. I dont know if its still off as I havent seen her in ages but I do recall she struggled for years to lose weight and this was the only thing that worked for her.

I have, very succesfully, used Bio-HCG. It is a "copy" of pregnancy hormones, with natural ingredients only. As opposed to many other diets I tried HCG did control my hunger and cravings. I did it in combination with exercise. You are NOT counting calories with this diet, it is a matter of combining (low carb) fruits and vegetables with lean proteins. Sugar, fat, carbs and dairy are excluded for the first 30 days. Woman are said to loose max. 8% of their weight during the first month. By no means is it a miracle product. It is all about changing your lifestyle and eating habits. But using the drops helped me achieve that, whereas all my other attempts, with or without diet products, utterly failed. I lost about 20 kilos in 4 months and manage to maintain weight and lifestyle.

Did she also cut her calories down to like, 500-700 per day? Those who inject HCG cut them down quite low. I am sure you are willing to try anything, and I understand how difficult it is to lose weight...but a hormone pregnant women produce, or cutting calories so low? Maybe some other women can come on here who have one it. Since I haven't I can't say anything other than i already have. If dieting and exercise really didn't work for you after you gave it hard effort, maybe get your hormones and thyroid levels checked, and if you are lacking, a doctor can prescribe something that truly does work, instead of some drops that "might."

Really?? Well if your friend did use them and it worked for her I would try it if I were you! I am thinking stop hoping for the quick fix!!! It took a long time to put this weight on, it is going to take a long to get it off!! It is just so difficult here I find. When we are out and about it is 'shall we pop for something to eat and a couple of bevvies'? Before you know it, you have put 2 1/2 stone on and creeping up to the 3!! Having nowhere to walk either doesn't help! Maybe you should start a group, see if anyone is interested in dieting/exercising with you, have a weekly weigh-in etc... it would help if you were all on the same diet/eating plan so you can help each other with meal idea's etc... Might be worth a try!
