Youtube has many videos on how to remove the different store tags...but I would go back to the shop personally, as knowing me I would probably rip the item or something...

If you google it suggests freezing the item of clothing if it is an ink one so the ink won't run and stain the garment-maybe worth a shot?

So annoying! I used to work in a clothes shop - if it's not an ink one, but just plastic / metal you should be able to get it off with a strong magnet (against the bigger part, not the pin) and then use pliers or something to grip the pin and pull it out. It should pop out easily. The ink ones I would def head to a shop as they're designed to be totally tamper proof and the mess when they explode is unbelievable!

Ive had this happen in the UK, hubby used a pair of pliers, he managed to remove the tag, but it was hard going. I would personally take the garment back to the shop.

I bought a skirt in M&S in the UK over Christmas, brought it back and then found it still had the tag! M&S here don't tag anything so they couldn't do it, and I went round lots of shops in MoE and explained the problem, and it was then I found out all the shops tend to have different shaped tags and removal machines, so you may have to go all the way back... like I did with my skirt to the UK! They were VERY apologetic...

If its the ink one then you cant ... if its the other type then its easy to remove.. what you have to do is twist the pin ( the metal part ) and get a gap a couple of Cms, Then pop the plastic part at an angle on a very sturdy hard surface, ( outside is best) and in the gap that you have created, give it a couple of whacks with a hammer and it comes out ! Happened to me in april this year where I got some tops from Dubai and took them back to the UK and they still had the tags on !

Isn't that THE most annoying thing ever?? Don't try and take it off at home, some of these tags are filled with dye and if removed incorrectly they will ruin the item. I would try a shop closer to home and see if they have the same system, I'm sure they will do it if they can. I once bought underwear from Victoria's Secret in MoE, got back to Doha, and realised they'd left the tag on. Managed to get it removed in 'Warehouse' thankfully. Phew!

had the same problem with an item purchased from Monsoon-just took it back to the closest branch with the receipt and they removed it-no problem at all
