Marroosh I feel embarrassed to ask you since I should know better but do you know where I can take my 5 year old to Quran classes? I feel she'll do better in a class rather than have a private tutor. I'm here in the States now and she's already memorized 2 surahs mash'Allah. I live in Jumeirah.Hi LuLee, JILC sent out their kids class schedule today, and I've forwarded it to you. Pls let me know if you didn't receive. Thank you RT, Marroosh and Apricot. Can you please forward the email again to leeleedxb at yahoo dot com. I did not receive it. Thanks again. Btw my husband and I had an amazing time in California. We did the coastal drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco. We fell in love with SF. It's a beautiful city. We'll definitely plan a trip again with the children isA. edited by LuLee on 25/07/2013

JILC is on Al Wasl Road, Al Huda Sisters just off Al Thanya Street in Umm Suqeim (www.alhudasisters.wordpress.com) Both are closed now though for the summer, I assume they will start again in September. edited by Marroosh on 22/07/2013

Traveling on Beach Rd towards Burj Al Arab, merge into the bylane after Sunset Mall. There's a masjid btwn Barakat and My Gym and they have English khutbah. If you email JILC (Jumeira Islamic Learning Ctr) at [email protected] they should be able to help you further with this one. The masaajid in Al Ghusais have Urdu khutbah. One neighborhood masjid in Barsha 2 has Urdu khutba, it's located off the turning for street 28, behind a govt girls school. Personally I ask my DH for a quick summary afterwards. The National newspaper prints an English summary of the official khutba for Abu Dhabi mosques every Friday in the front section. That masjid in Jumeirah has moved, they moved to another place nearby. are you talking about the small masjid next to My Gym?

Confirmed that the one at Meadows repeats the sermon in English after the prayer. Before prayer, sermon is in Arabic.

Springs Town Centre (Big Spinneys) is in English for sure. Come early because parking can get quite hectic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember someone saying the Springs masjid does the khutbah in English.

Ok so I had a little Google around, and came across something mentioning the Pakistan Academy on Oud Metha Road. They seem to have a masjid there that delivers Khutba in Urdu.

My friend who knows the Philippino shaykh who does English khutbah in Jumeirah wasn't able to get in touch with him. I check the Islamic Affairs website and wasn't able to find info there either. Best thing is to give them a call and find out.I know Meadows has a masjid with translated khutbah.
