Where can I find a nude coloured half slip?

Been to quite a few lingerie shops here and nothing.

Been to Debenhams and they only have this thick tummy tucking band thats attached to it, I don't want that. I just want a simple nude coloured half slip that you can get in most womens clothing shops in the UK.

Help!

If I can't get it here, my last resort is to order it from the UK. which I'll have to wait for. :(

Sorry that it seems I've put you wrong Diamante, but I purchased a nude slip from there last summer and its far from see-through, absolutely does it job! Perhaps its different stock now. Good luck in your hunt..... No, thats fine :) Most definitely must be different stock, as it was definitely see-through :( Back to the drawing board.

Woolworths has a good selection; white, nude or black, in different lengths. They are quite reasonably price too from memory - around 40dhs? edited by Pomegranate on 19/03/2011 Yes, did come across these today. But they were really see-through; defeats the whole object of having a 'blackout' lining for under summer skirts. Off to Etam now, otherwise will have to fork out the 110 dhs at M&S.

Max in Ibn Battuta has half slips in nude and black. Very nice material and price. Went in to Max in Ibn Battuta, they don't have any slips at all in the shop. Can you tell me which Max it was you saw them in please. Btw, can anyone tell me where I can find an Etam.

I bought one at M & S Festival City 3 weeks ago. They had, from memory, about a dozen on the rack.

If desperate, you can have one made. Most of the Satwa tailor shops have this sort of material in stock and will run you up a slip to go under outfits which require one. I've had several dresses made -- all lined -- so it's really just a matter of having them make a separate slip for you [rather than lining an existing outfit'>.

Hi... saw these at Marks and Spencers the other day (Dubai Mall). They usually don't have a big selection, and smaller sizes go out of stock really quickly, and yes you have to look for them in between all those body shaping ones. Try the Wafi or Festival city branches - they are bigger and usually have a lot more stock / sizes

as an alternative - can you get whatever it is you would wear the slip under lined at the tailor? I think this is more comfortable and looks better I did think of that but I have just bought quite a few long skirts, so makes sense to have the one slip :)
